Each flower is carefully handcrafted in my studio based in Chichester, West Sussex where each petal and leaf is cut, shaped and formed by hand to bring them to life, making use of high quality crepe papers.

Hello I’m Clare and I just love creating paper flowers!
Petal and Bird started when I decided I wanted to create the flowers for my own wedding in August 2016. I really wanted to hold onto as many memories as I could from our special day and I didn’t want my flowers to die. I now get to remember it forever, as they now fill mine and my family and friends homes. I just love that I get to see my wedding bouquet every day still looking as fresh as when it came down the aisle with me.
I love the process of bringing life to each and every flower, creating something special for my customers. From the beginning stages working with a client and designing the flowers, to bringing each petal to life and then packaging the completed order. It’s an amazing feeling when someone loves your work and wants it to be a part of their special day.
