Meet the Face behind Petal & Bird’s Paper Flowers

Welcome to my first Blog post of 2019! I thought it would be a great opportunity for some introductions and to welcome new Paper Flower friends to my website.
So without further ado, Hello! I’m Clare the face behind Petal & Bird’s paper flowers.

Creating paper flowers all started for me in 2016 when I decided I wanted to make all the flowers for our wedding from paper. I wanted my wedding flowers to last and remind me, my family and friends of the beautiful weekend we had when myself and Jake said our “I do’s”. I just love that I get to see my wedding bouquet everyday!

I work solely with high quality crepe papers to create Petal & Bird’s paper flowers. Taking care and attention to cut each and every petal and leaf before shaping and forming into my flowers or foliage. You can see Petal Bird’s paper flowers in actions here.

I just love to create bespoke wedding collections for bride’s to be, creating their dream bouquet. Working with paper allows couple’s to have their favourite flowers, in any colour during any season. Bring their personalities into their flowers and then keep forever to remember their commitment to one another.

I create all my flowers from my little garden studio in Chichester, West Sussex. Although in the Winter months I do seem to take over the dining room table as its gets rather cold out there. From my home I also offer my free flower consultations where we can get together to chat about your wedding flower ideas. I just love hearing about couple’s wedding plans and how I can add a unique and lasting touch to their special day with Petal & Bird’s paper flowers .

Please get in touch if you’d like to set a date to start planning your forever flowers.

Based on the border between Hampshire and West Sussex Petal & Bird’s paper flowers are not only perfect for local weddings they also work really well for destination weddings. My flowers won’t wilt in the hot sun and travel well to your final celebratory destination. Last year my flowers made there way to Jamaica, Spain and Portugal!

Or if you’re based further afield within the UK, my paper flowers can be carefully packaged and posted to you in advance of your wedding day. Removing the stress and anticipation on the day whether your flowers will look as you expected. I will keep you up to date with images and information as your order progresses.
