A Colourful Wedding Flower Collection all Handmade from Paper
I first met Caroline and her sister, who was her maid of honour, at a wedding fair back in October 2018 where we chatted about her plans to have colourful wedding flowers including the colours purple and orange but she thought she might struggle to find flowers of those colours that would be in season.
It was so lovely to hear from Caroline when she booked in her flower consultation for February of this year.
Colourful wedding flowers where still in her plans and orange and purple where still her main colours along with an added splash of pink and bright green foliage.
Her bouquet was to be filled with a collection of paper peonies, roses, gerbera, zinnias, love in a mist and blossoms.
These colourful wedding flowers where to be echoed in the bridesmaid’s posies and buttonholes aswell as little arrangements for the table centrepieces.
This was such a lovely bright and colourful collection to create and my first teardrop styled bouquet.
Adding the finishing touches of purple ribbons for the buttonholes and orange ribbons for the bridesmaid’s flowers and the beautiful combination of both for Caroline’s bouquet.Flowing down ready to dance in the early October wind.
Caroline and Shawn’s big day was held on the 5th October 2019 at Fitzleroi Barns in Pulborough. Their day was filled with handmade elements, colour and celebrating with their friends and family and the sun shone for them all.
I wish Caroline and Shawn a lifetime of happiness together. I was so happy to be contacted by Caroline with a collection of wedding photographs. Just so lovely to see the colourful wedding flowers in action. Photographed by Barry and Nichola Photography.
