Looking back on my year of making wedding bouquet recreations and handcrafting these beautiful wedding bouquets from paper as first year wedding anniversary gifts. Wow 2019 has been a busy one.
I was contacted earlier this year by Lauren who wanted to have her favourite flowers of white anemones on her wedding day but was advised by her event dresser and florist that they weren’t in season. So she approached me and I came to the rescue with creating her a collection of her favourite flowers.

I was so honoured to be asked by Ben & Becky to create a collection of paper flower hair accessories for their bridesmaids and flower girls to be worn at their January wedding.
During the Summer I was honoured to collaborate on bridal photo shoot and to create a seaside inspired alternative paper wedding bouquet that was to take place at Itchenor Sailing Club. When I knew the photo shoot was going to take place where I got married myself I jumped at the chance.

So without further ado, Hello! I’m Clare the face behind Petal & Bird’s paper flowers.
What an amazing year 2018 has been for my little paper flower business. Seeing it grow and to see my flowers in many different environments has been fantastic. So I thought I’d take this opportunity to share with you my adventures in a year of paper flowers for 2018!!
On the 21st November I taught my first paper rose workshop. After 11 years of teaching I wasn’t expecting to be that nervous but teaching something developed from scratch and showcasing my own skill and not on a ‘syllabus’ was a special moment for me, and the excitement was there!
